Mindful Parenting On-line Course
This 4 week on-line, interactive course covers –
· What Mindfulness is, and Mindful parenting, and what its not!
· The important of ‘Good Enough’ parenting.
· Strategies to help bring in your calm and stress less, as well as ways to Respond rather than React when it all gets too much! This includes less yelling, and feelings of frustration
· Why we need to practice self-compassion, and simple ways how to.
· Attachment, why our kids still need us at any age, and the cycle of disconnection and reconnection.
· Super simple ways to incorporate a little bit of Mindfulness into your every day life, so you can enjoy the adventure and rollercoaster of parenting.
This starts on the 6th of August, running for 4 consecutive Thursdays. The sessions will be run via Zoom (so you will need internet, and Zoom installed).
The sessions will run from 12:30-1:10, and will hopefully (fingers crossed, I can be techy enough!) recorded.
Participants will be emailed all course materials, and email and phone support available.
The course will be facilitated by Kate Foster (a Family Counsellor) who holds a Bachelor of Social Science, is an accredited facilitator of Mindful Awareness Parent course, and completed Mindfulness training with Dr Russ Harris, and Dr Louise Hayes. She is also a mum of 2, navigating the adventures of parenting!
