Developing Emotional Intelligence in Children

Have you heard of the term "Emotional Intelligence"?
Emotional Intelligence (EQ) refers to the ability to identify and manage one's own emotions, as well as identify the emotions of others.

The benefits of developing EQ can help children today and later in life, by giving kids the skills they need to manage their feelings, solve problems, and function well, later translating into a successful adulthood. EQ has also been shown to help children manage their impulse control and self-regulation.
